At the upcoming Institute for Supply Management’s 4th Annual Sustainability and Social Responsibility Conference (Orlando, FL, November 7 – 8), firm President Robert Kuhn will host a one-and-a-half hour “Sustainability Café” session entitled “Sustainability 2.0 – Going Beyond Eco-Efficiency.”
This interactive discussion session will use the World Café format to explore issues related to the medium- and long-term aspects of corporate sustainability, at the time when many companies will exhaust opportunities to exploit additional efficiencies from their buildings, their people, their processes and their products. Robert’s hope for the session is for Conference participants to engage in meaningful discussions about:
The World Café format, because it relies on authentic, engaging discussion in a relaxed setting, is a perfect approach to these novel topics. At the end of the session, Robert will synthesize information gathered from the discussion roundtables and present his take-aways to the group.
